Paynes Cottage bed and Breakfast is located in North Wiltshire just outside of Sherston and 10mins drive from Malmesbury.

We have two rooms available all year round. The rooms are located in an annex separate from the main property with an entrance beside the drive.

The rooms are: One twin room with an en-suit shower room and one double room with a private shower room. We also have parking available just outside if needed.

All rooms are comfortably furnished and are finished to a high quality.

There are lots of events and festivals taking place around us all year. These include Womad and the Badminton Horse Trials. We are also located in a prime position for such towns as Bristol, Bath, Marlborough and Avebury, which has the 'largest known stone ring in the world'

Please contact us for prices. We do not offer an evening meal only breakfast. Although in the village there is a choice of two quality pubs.

Upcoming Womad Festival Event: 25th - 27th July

The WOMAD festival is returning to the beautiful Charlton Park this summer with a selection of the best music, food and entertainment on the planet. Amongst the developments this year are an Irish Ceilidh, a Sufi Night, Percussion and Dance Workshops and a Taste Café.

The site is just outside the historic abbey town of Malmesbury in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside, just seven miles from Junction 17 (Chippenham) of the M4 - one hundred miles due west of London.

From our home, the Womad site is a simple 15minute drive!
